So often Christians can be satisfied with a surface knowledge of God’s promises and the great news about His Son, Jesus. Several passages in Hebrews specifically challenge believers to pay careful attention and to not lose heart in the pursuit of God’s Kingdom. The book shows how God’s plan of eternal salvation and personal transformation has been carefully woven throughout the Old Testament history in order to encourage a deeper understanding of God’s purposes and our relationship with Him.

Ways of God & Ways of Man

We often have preconceived ideas about what God does in and around our lives and how He goes about doing it. We get these ideas from testimonies of other people and even Bible stories. Sometimes, we come to believe that the way God works in others is the way He is going to work in our lives as well.

In this series we will explore and discover what Isaiah meant in 55:8-9 concerning God’s ways and our ways. In doing so, it will help us to draw closer to God, develop a deeper understanding of who He is, and have a greater faith and trust in Him.

Ephesians: Community of Disciples

Imagine an entire church, not just a few individuals, committed to living out the Great Commission of making disciples. The church in Ephesus, some say, was once such a church but it eventually lost its zeal and passion. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians was his attempt to bring them back to their place as a church that was whole and that was focused on being disciples and making disciples.

Our study of the Book of Ephesians will stretch us, remind us, and guide us as a church to take up this challenge and not give up or forget.
